The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is the greatest social change Australia has had since the introduction of Medicare.
NDIS will provide funding to over 460,000 people with disabilities throughout Australia once the rollout is completed. The new funding model will provide people with disabilities with greater choice and control of how their supports are delivered.
