Disability Support Workers – Current Vacancies

121 Care is currently seeking workers to provide in-home support to clients with disability.  We currently have vacancies available for clients in the following areas:

  •   Mooloolah Valley: Tues, Wed & Thur mornings 0700-0900hrs.  Female worker required
  •   Woombye: 4 hours per day x 3 days (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, 1100 am – 3:00 pm).  Female workers required
  •   Noosaville: Long shifts, rostered over seven days + sleepovers.  2 x female workers required
  •   Kingaroy:  3 shifts per week, hours negotiable, Female worker required

Mandatory requirements

  • 18 years or over
  • First Aid and CPR certifications
  • Manual Handling (hoists)
  • Experience with personal hygiene (bowel therapy/catheter care)
  • Yellow card – National police check  (or willing to apply for a Yellow Card)
  • Flexible availability
  • Two work references
  • Good communication skills

Highly regarded

  • Assist with Medication certification
  • Current driver’s licence and own vehicle
  • Able work autonomously
  • Able to assist in light housework tasks, meal preparation, community access
  • Strong work ethic and passion for caring
  • Certification in Individual / Disability Support
